Omega Weddings was formed after owner and lead cinematographer, Courtney Gerwig, developed a passion for revolutionizing the experience behind hiring a wedding cinematographer. With 11 years of experience in the wedding industry, Courtney noticed an opportunity to approach weddings with a bold, vibrant, and genuine spirit with a team of talented and passionate individuals. The Omega Weddings team creates a fun and upbeat atmosphere so that you can enjoy making new favorite memories that will be captured and cherished forever.

Hey there! My name is Courtney and I started videography 10 years ago and developed a deep love for capturing moments. I came from a music background and a degree in music, and somehow that turned into wedding videography. I came into the wedding industry asking myself the question... "How do you standout in an already saturated industry?" Very quickly I developed a love for shaking up your typical wedding experience with a lot of personality and punch not only in your films but on the day of! I also developed a deep passion for creating a team that gives an experience that goes beyond the sparkler send-off. My goal is for Omega to be apart of that core memory for our couples...from start to finish and that last forever.

Hey hey! My name is Tucker and I am a photographer and cinematographer here at Omega Weddings. Ever since I bought my first camera I became obsessed with creating and capturing moments. Fast forward to today I am still sharpening my skills in both photo and video everyday. The most important thing to me is bringing a lighthearted and positive vibe to your wedding day while capturing it in a creative light. Meeting new people and becoming like best-friends by the end of the day is the greatest gift to me in this industry.

Hey! I’m Alex, cinematographer & creative based in the heart of Kansas City. My life journey took an unexpected turn when I let that “passion” thing hijack my carefully crafted lie plans! Despite building a career in PR & Marketing, I found my way back to my passion for creating. I love LOVE and bringing a fun energy to every wedding day. We are going to laugh, dance and live in the moment. Those moments are what make a wedding day last a lifetime, and I can’t wait to be there capturing those moments.
